Colleague Development

Pfizer believes in continuous learning and development for our colleagues.

At the first level, every colleague will be greeted with the New Colleague Orientation Program which is designed to equip colleagues with foundational knowledge in the areas of Current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP), Environmental, Health and Safety (EHS) procedures and Company background information - our history, who we are, our mission, our purpose, our values and our key policies.

At the Department level, on-the-job training is provided to equip colleagues with skills to carry out their work. Overseas technical training to learn best practices at our worldwide Pfizer sites will be provided as deemed necessary. The department also carves out a comprehensive department training plan each year to ensure effective training is implemented. Development programs for career advancement are also provided.

At the company level, site-wide learning and development programs are integrated into the total training plan to align individuals towards the organization's goals.

PAPPL provides opportunities for learning and development through a comprehensive training plan to equip colleagues to do their current jobs and an integrated job enhancement programs to ensure life long learning.
